You can delete your Daily Lingo account and its data at any time.
This removes your account immediately, asks Apple or Google to revoke Daily Lingo's access to your sign-in, and erases all learning data on the device.
This removes your account, your teacher access and your sign-in on every device at once. Signing in on the web with Google gives Daily Lingo nothing it can revoke, so Google may still list Daily Lingo under third-party access in your Google Account; you can remove it there.
Email privacy@xpaso.com from the address associated with your sign-in, with the subject Account deletion request. We action requests within 30 days and confirm by email when it is done.
| Data | What happens |
|---|---|
| Your sign-in link to Daily Lingo | Revoked with Apple or Google where we hold a token for it. If revocation fails, only that sealed token is kept, with no account attached, while we retry for up to 30 days |
| Teacher access and web sign-in sessions | Deleted from our servers |
| Account and installation identifiers | Deleted from our servers |
| Usage and rate-limit records | Deleted |
| Progress, streak, saved phrases, review state | Erased from your device |
| Conversation messages | Nothing to delete — they were never stored |
| Your teacher's classes on the web | Deleting a teacher account deletes every class it owns, including class members, submissions, feedback, notes and live-session records, before removing the account. If class deletion fails, the account is kept. |
If you are a guest student, open Student Today and choose Leave class. Your membership and the answers, sentences, speaking text and feedback in that class are deleted from the live database immediately. Restricted operational backup copies expire within 30 days. If you cannot access that browser, email privacy@xpaso.com with the class name and the display name you used.
Class submissions are kept while the class exists. Archived classes and their work are deleted after 12 months; members inactive for 12 months are removed with their work. The service applies these retention limits daily. The full details are in the privacy policy.
